LED Signs

LED signs can sometimes refer to digital signs or LED electronic message center signs. However, LED technology is also a very cost-effective, long lasting and highly visible way to illuminate cabinet signs and channel letter signs.

For channel letters, LED lighting is an attention-getting, cost-efficient option to neon signs, that are more expensive and costly to maintain. Today’s LEDs can very closely simulate the traditional neon glow to produce iconic and retro signage.

For cabinet signs, including walls signs, monument signs and pylon signs, LED lighting can replace traditional fluorescent bulbs.  Solid state LEDs last significantly longer than fluorescent lighting and use much less electricity, lowering the overall cost of ownership of a sign.

LEDs can be designed and installed in many different ways and with different LED colors to achieve different lighting effects and intensity.

LED Face Lit Signs

Face lit or front lit letters and logos provide enhanced visibility for your brand both day and night. Sometimes referred to as channel letters, face lit signs are three-dimensional signs made from aluminum, acrylic, and LED lighting. Many buildings use face lit signage on the exterior, although it’s not uncommon to see them inside buildings as well. For example, many retail shopping malls feature face lit signs inside the building for each store.

Using LEDs in face lit channel letters can provide a cost-effective, long lasting way to highlight your name or logo.  LEDs can provide a variety of lighting colors, shades and effects including different colors during the day or at night.

LEDs can also be used for face lit sign cabinets.  These cabinets can use acrylic faces, polycarbonate faces, flexible fabric faces or routed aluminum faces.

With so many options to choose from when creating your custom LED face lit sign, Sign Advisors of Houston is here to help you decide which product style and options work for your project.

LED Halo Lit Signs

LED halo lit can be added to a variety of sign types, including acrylic signs, channel letter storefront signs, and cabinet signs.

This unique, eye-catching look elevates the impression and perceived value of both the sign and your business. Sometimes referred to as reverse channel letters or backlit channel letters, halo lit letters and logos are professionally crafted and finished with a rear-facing lighting accent. When installed, the letters are ‘floated’ off the wall with spacers, and the light is directed against a surface behind the letter, producing a halo effect.
