The City of Houston Sign Administration has removed the sign permit moratorium notice and is now accepting and processing sign permits.
A official statement has not yet been posted, but it is believed the Houston City Council voted to rescind the moratorium earlier last week.
On April 21, 2022, the Supreme Court of the United States issued their ruling in the City of Austin v Reagan National Advertising. This triggered a Review Period by the Houston Sign Administration and a moratorium on the issuance of sign permits.
